Job Description
North Ridge Country Club is a distinguished private club renowned for offering its members an exclusive and prestigious experience through a variety of dining outlets across its picturesque campus. Catering primarily to its esteemed members, the club has committed itself to uphold the highest standards of service and culinary excellence. This commitment is reflected in every detail, including the quality of food, the ambiance, and the attentive staff who ensure every visit is memorable. The club’s Food & Beverage (F&B) Kitchen department plays a pivotal role in delivering this impeccable service, working tirelessly behind the scenes to create culinary delights that cater to diverse tastes and preferences.
The Cook role at North Ridge Country Club is a vital position within the F&B Kitchen, reporting directly to the Sous Chef. This role is designed for individuals who thrive in dynamic, fast-paced commercial kitchen environments and who are passionate about food preparation and maintaining premium food quality. As a Cook, you will be responsible for a range of kitchen duties that include meal preparation, grilling, frying, garnishing, and assembling dishes in line with the standards prescribed by the senior culinary team. An essential aspect of this position is the maintenance of cleanliness and organization at your workstation, which directly supports the smooth operation of the kitchen and upholds food safety standards.
The ideal candidate for this position is someone with a strong customer service orientation and a positive attitude. You will collaborate closely with team members, including fellow cooks and kitchen staff, to ensure all food items are prepared and presented to perfection. Additionally, you will be responsible for proper food storage practices, including food rotation and time-stamping to maintain freshness and compliance with health regulations. This role requires manual dexterity, a good sense of taste, and the ability to work quickly and efficiently, especially during busy periods such as weekends, holidays, and special events.
The Cook position at North Ridge Country Club not only offers an opportunity to work in an esteemed private club setting but also promises a supportive work environment that values teamwork, communication, and professional development. If you have previous experience in food preparation, are adept at multitasking, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this role offers a rewarding career path where your culinary skills contribute directly to member satisfaction and the overall success of the club.
