  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of 90 hours Food Supervisor Course from an accredited sponsor or equivalent
  • Possession of State Food Service Sanitation Certificate
  • Ability to prepare foods from recipes
  • Ability to work independently
  • Satisfactory clearance of criminal history background check

Job Duties

  • Follow the Culinary Director's instruction in producing and serving food to meet standards
  • Perform duties involved in the safe preparation and handling of food, cleaning, and sanitizing of equipment and facility
  • Exhibit knowledge of operating all equipment, work techniques and methods of performing duties
  • Maintain required forms and records as assigned by Director
  • Utilize all food stocked to the fullest extent possible
  • Advise Culinary Director of repairs needed for equipment
  • Work under stress effectively and efficiently
  • Exhibit willingness to work in any situation
  • Maintain personal qualities appropriate for task at hand
  • Continually look to upgrade level of skill
  • Participate in in-service training sessions
  • Maintain regular attendance
  • Exhibit punctuality
  • Exhibit enthusiasm
  • Perform other duties assigned by Director
