- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of 90 hours Food Supervisor Course from an accredited sponsor or equivalent
- Possession of State Food Service Sanitation Certificate
- Ability to prepare foods from recipes
- Ability to work independently
- Satisfactory clearance of criminal history background check

Job Duties
- Follow the Culinary Director's instruction in producing and serving food to meet standards
- Perform duties involved in the safe preparation and handling of food, cleaning, and sanitizing of equipment and facility
- Exhibit knowledge of operating all equipment, work techniques and methods of performing duties
- Maintain required forms and records as assigned by Director
- Utilize all food stocked to the fullest extent possible
- Advise Culinary Director of repairs needed for equipment
- Work under stress effectively and efficiently
- Exhibit willingness to work in any situation
- Maintain personal qualities appropriate for task at hand
- Continually look to upgrade level of skill
- Participate in in-service training sessions
