Job Duties
- Prepare and serve food within menu and dietary guidelines
- Use kitchen utensils and equipment such as slicers, mixers, ovens, fryers, steamers, stove tops, and grills
- Modify preparations to account for food allergies
- Follow healthcare foodservice industry standards, regulations, and procedures
- Monitor and maintain food temperatures during cooking, holding, and storage processes
- Avoid cross-contamination of foods and adhere to personal hygiene requirements
- Maintain labeling and storage of food, equipment, and machinery
- Perform washing and cleaning duties to ensure sanitation and cleanliness in cooking and serving areas
