Job Requirements

  • Must be available to work holidays and weekends
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs periodically
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, sit, stand, and walk
  • Must be able to work with all Denny’s menu items

Job Qualifications

  • Must be 18 or older
  • Must have 6 months restaurant or hospitality industry experience preferred
  • Ability to prepare all menu items according to Denny’s standards
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare guest selections following set recipes and brand standards
  • Present food attractively while maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment
  • Honor guest requests for special orders
  • Correctly call the wheel to ensure proper preparation timing
  • Clean, complete side work, and organize supplies as required
  • Monitor waste and food cost controls to minimize losses
  • Assist other team members willingly without being asked to promote smooth kitchen operation
  • Provide total guest satisfaction through quality cooking and service
