Job Requirements

  • At least 2-3 years of professional experience in a line cook role
  • Ability to work 50 hours per week with flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Basic culinary skills including food preparation and cooking
  • Knowledge of health and safety and sanitation standards
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Reliable and punctual work ethic

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-3 years industry experience as a line cook
  • Culinary school education or formal training is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques such as grilling, sautéing, frying, and baking
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and food sanitation practices
  • Ability to maintain quality and consistency under pressure

Job Duties

  • Prepare ingredients including chopping vegetables and portioning meats
  • Cook food items on the line following established recipes and cooking methods
  • Maintain high standards of quality and consistency in food preparation and presentation
  • Coordinate timing with kitchen staff to ensure timely order delivery
  • Keep workstation clean and organized and follow food safety procedures
  • Comply with health and safety regulations including proper food handling and storage
  • Work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Collaborate closely with kitchen staff including sous chefs and dishwashers
