Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in food preparation and cooking in a professional kitchen environment
  • ability to read and speak English to understand recipes, safety instructions, and communicate with team members
  • manual dexterity and physical stamina to handle kitchen tools and stand for long periods
  • knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
  • capability to follow directions from the Head Chef and work collaboratively within a team

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and quality standards
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including utensils, equipment, and workstations
  • ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
  • communicate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house team to coordinate meal preparation and delivery
  • stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as climbing stairs and moving kitchen supplies
  • monitor food stock levels and report shortages or spoilage to management
