Currently, the company operates close to 2,800 locations worldwide, making it the largest family-owned American Chinese restaurant concept in the United States. Panda Restaurant Group continues to grow while embracing strong family values and a mission to inspire team members to improve their lives and positively impact their communities. This dedication to quality and people has made Panda not only a successful brand but also a workplace that values inclusivity, diversity, and equal opportunity for all employees. The company offers a dynamic and growth-oriented work environment with opportunities for career development and management advancement. Panda Restaurant Group also ensures compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and other federal, state, and local laws, supporting balance and fair treatment in the workplace for all team members.

The Cook position at Panda is a critical role within the team and the kitchen, serving as a vital leader who brings passion to food preparation, heart to service, and pride to the restaurant's ambiance. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy working with a team focused on delivering high-quality dining experiences. The position requires physical stamina, with responsibilities that include working with kitchen equipment that demands speed and accuracy, managing hot and sometimes confined workspaces, and handling food safety requirements. Panda offers flexible schedules and competitive pay, with hourly wages ranging from $26 to $29, varying based on location and experience. The company supports its employees with comprehensive benefits for full-time associates, including medical, dental, vision, and short-term disability insurance, as well as retirement plans like the 401K matching program. Employee meal discounts, paid vacation, sick leave, bereavement leave, and ongoing leadership and career development are also parts of the rewarding compensation package.
