The role being offered is for skilled Cooks who will work predominantly behind the scenes in the kitchen, playing a vital part in delivering the Habit difference to every guest. These Cooks will be trained and expected to perform duties across all kitchen stations, including Fryer, Broiler, Make-up, Quarterback, and Lead Cook positions. For those advancing to the Kitchen Leader role, leadership, communication, and management skills will be essential to ensure the team is efficient, motivated, and consistently producing delicious, fresh food items. This position is integral to maintaining the company’s standards of cleanliness, food safety, and operational efficiency.

Cooks will demonstrate exceptional knowledge of food preparation and personal safety. They will be responsible for training fellow cooks, managing food and labor costs, meeting sales and quality goals, and maintaining health and safety regulations at all times. Managing kitchen operations efficiently during closing shifts is a critical part of this role. Job Duties

  • Set the standard and leads by example in all kitchen functions and responsibilities
  • Provide direction and coaching to team members
  • Manage kitchen organization and cleanliness, delegating tasks as necessary
  • Able to perform all stations in the kitchen, including preparation and cooking of all food items
  • Ensure standard operational procedures are followed for consistent delivery of quality food items
  • Detailed knowledge of cleaning, maintenance, and operation of all kitchen equipment, including flat grills, charbroiler, fryer, slicer
  • Comply with all established standards, including personal safety, food safety, sanitation, personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform
  • Set and maintain ordering pars weekly to ensure quality and availability of food products
  • Assist in training and developing back of house staff
  • Manage kitchen organization, cleanliness, efficiency, and operations during closing shifts
