Job Requirements

  • High school diploma preferred
  • 2 to 5 years experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Food Handlers Card valid in applicable states (California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Nevada, Texas, Virginia)
  • Ability to follow recipes accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
  • Ability to multitask and communicate effectively
  • Must be able to work flexible hours

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to work all stations effectively
  • Knowledge of food safety standards

Job Duties

  • Work all stations on a fast-paced line
  • Set up and stock product at assigned cooking stations
  • Cook and present dishes according to Lazy Dog recipes
  • Use only fresh, high-quality ingredients
  • Ensure proper recipe is displayed on monitor during preparation
  • Follow recipe adherence at all times
  • Maintain food safety procedures and sanitize equipment, utensils, and tools
  • Use PPE properly and follow safety guidelines
  • Demonstrate knowledge of cooking equipment including startup and maintenance
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation
  • Immediately report product, equipment, or food safety concerns
  • Provide guest-focused service and multitask efficiently
  • Communicate in basic English
  • Build relationships based on trust and respect
  • Create a fun work environment
