Job Requirements
- 2-3 years previous culinary experience in a professional kitchen environment
- Active Food handler’s certification or ability to get it
- Willingness to work a variety of day, night, and weekend shifts
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to be on feet for long periods
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Minimum age of 21 years

Job Duties
- Assist culinary leadership team in production and fabrication of food products for kitchen preparation, cafeteria, banquet cooking, dining room, and fine dining
- Develop knowledge and skills in various cooking procedures and methods such as grill, sauté, and fry
- Use knives and various kitchen equipment proficiently
- Read and recreate recipes consistently
- Minimize food waste through cross utilization
- Create and maintain workstations with necessary ingredients and cooking equipment
- Prepare ingredients by chopping and peeling vegetables and cutting meat
- Keep kitchen environment sanitized and orderly
- Ensure proper storage of food and other items
- Maintain quality of ingredients
