Job Requirements
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to kneel, bend, twist, stoop and work in high temperature environments
- Punctuality and flexibility to work variable hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- Follow Smashburger uniform standards
- Ability to comply with all employment regulations
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. and participation in E-verify

Job Duties
- Be a menu expert, follow Smashburger's prep and recipe standards to prepare guest orders
- Read, prepare and cook food orders to specifications to ensure guest satisfaction, gold standards and minimize waste
- Work effectively as a team player and communicate with Guest Service Experts and managers in a busy environment
- Ensure all food items are rung in prior to preparation and be flexible to verbal instructions
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, equipment and counters using approved cleaning products
- Operate large cooking equipment such as grills and deep fryers safely with proper PPE
- Follow checklists and systems to set up, stock and close the kitchen
- Learn new recipes and procedures to support marketing promotions
- Assist Guest Service Experts in managing dining room cleanliness and efficient food delivery
- Foster and value a safe work environment by adhering to all personal, food safety and security standards
