Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
- 0 to 2 years of related work experience
- knowledge of basic kitchen equipment operation
- familiarity with food-handling procedures
- ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- ability to stand or walk for long periods
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- ability to perform repetitive motions
- punctual and reliable attendance for scheduled shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 0 to 2 years of related work experience
- knowledge of basic operation of kitchen equipment
- understanding of food-handling procedures
- ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- good working knowledge of food preparation
- must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised
Job Duties
- Prepare food in accordance with current federal, state and corporate standards
- follow basic recipes and product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving and serving food items
- taste products, read menus, estimate food requirements, check production and keep records for planning
- maintain significant walking or other means of mobility during shifts
- stand or walk for extended periods exceeding eight hours
- reach, bend, stoop, push, pull and lift frequently up to 35 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds
- perform repetitive motions
- attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
- perform other duties assigned based on business necessities and client requirements
