Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior food service experience
- Two-year experience in quantity food production preferred
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to follow standardized written recipes
- Knowledge or training in the usage of food production equipment
- Flexible availability for day and night shifts
- Union membership with SH Laborers 381 required

- Knowledge and training in the usage of food production equipment
- Familiarity with food safety and sanitation standards
Job Duties
- Plan and perform large scale quantity cooking including meats, vegetables, fish, hot and cold salads, soups, sauces, gravies, eggs, cakes, desserts and breads
- Follow standardized written recipes accurately
- Supervise and perform less skilled food preparation duties such as cleaning and sanitizing workstations and equipment
- Maintain food production and storage equipment to ensure cleanliness and proper function
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Support the Expressly for You program by delivering quality meals to patients
- Collaborate with Food Service team members to enhance patient dining experience
