The Cook position at Bluestone Lane plays a critical role in maintaining the kitchen’s smooth operation and ensuring that every guest receives outstanding food that meets the brand’s premium standards. As a Cook, the individual will be responsible for prepping, cooking, and assembling a variety of food products and meals while strictly adhering to all sanitation, health, and personal hygiene regulations. The role demands a dedication to executing the company’s established food production processes and procedures to consistently deliver delicious and visually appealing dishes within a swift turnaround time of 10 minutes per order. The Cook works closely with both the front of house and back of house teams to promote a seamless service flow and enhance the overall local customer experience. Key responsibilities include understanding and complying with standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards, and ensuring food safety compliance. The Cook will also be involved in preparing ingredients for peak service periods, managing food storage and labeling accurately, and maintaining a clean and hygienic workstation. Additionally, the successful candidate will actively contribute to a collaborative team environment, communicate effectively across departments, and assist in inventory and delivery management. The role requires the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure cafe environment while demonstrating a strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in food preparation. - DOH accreditation or Safe Serve certification
