Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
  • 0 to 2 years of related work experience
  • Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures preferred
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Good working knowledge of food preparation
  • Requires familiarity of kitchen equipment
  • Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised

Job Duties

  • Prepare food in accordance with federal, state, and corporate standards
  • Follow recipes and product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving, and serving various food items
  • Taste products, read menus, estimate food requirements, check production, and keep records
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation
  • Uphold food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Stand or walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and repetitive motions
  • Support teamwork and contribute to a positive kitchen environment
