Job Description
This position is offered at Moose Run Golf Course, located on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Alaska. Moose Run Golf Course is a well-established recreational facility known for its scenic beauty and quality amenities, catering to both military personnel and the local community. It provides a welcoming atmosphere where patrons can enjoy a variety of food and beverage services, enhancing their overall experience on the course. This opportunity is part of a Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) employment program, which signifies that the position is funded through revenue generated by the facility rather than federal appropriations. The role at Moose Run Golf Course is seasonal, with employment not exceeding October 31, 2026. A recruitment incentive of $1000 may be authorized for qualifying candidates, demonstrating the organization's commitment to attracting skilled workers. The position offers a flexible schedule, ranging from zero to 40 hours per week depending on the operational needs of the golf course facility, making it suitable for candidates seeking adaptable working hours.

Candidates with education completed outside the United States may apply if they provide proof that their credentials are equivalent to U.S. education standards. Open to all applicants regardless of status, including military spouses, veterans, and transition hiring preference eligibilities, the hiring process emphasizes fairness and preference according to set criteria. This multifaceted role combines culinary skills, operational awareness, and physical stamina to contribute significantly to the customer service excellence at Moose Run Golf Course.
