Moose Run Golf Course, located on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Alaska, is a distinguished recreational facility offering a premier golfing experience for military personnel, their families, and civilians alike. As part of the Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) activities, the golf course provides not only leisure and sporting activities but also employment opportunities that support the community and the base's morale and welfare programs. Job Requirements
- Experience in food preparation and presentation
- ability to follow instructions
- knowledge of food service equipment operation and cleaning
- physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- ability to stand and move continuously
- Food Handler's Certificate or willingness to complete training
- employment status as Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF)
- seasonal work agreement not to exceed October 31, 2026
- eligibility verification by April 30, 2026
- open to all applicants including military spouse and veteran preferences
Job Qualifications
- Experience in food preparation and presentation in a grill, snack bar, restaurant, or similar setting
- ability to follow oral and written instructions
- knowledge of food service equipment and sanitation
- ability to season and determine when foods are done
- physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds frequently
- ability to stand and move continuously during shifts
- must obtain Food Handler's Certificate or complete food handler training
Job Duties
- Prepare and present food in grill or snack bar settings
- follow oral and written instructions accurately
- operate and clean food service equipment
- season and cook foods to proper standards
- lift objects up to 40 pounds frequently
- stand, walk, stoop, reach, push, pull, and bend for extended periods
- obtain and maintain a Food Handler's Certificate
