Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
- 0 to 2 years of related work experience
- Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures preferred
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Good working knowledge of food preparation
- Requires familiarity with kitchen equipment
- Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised
- Ability to walk or stand for extended periods, sometimes over 8 hours
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently and occasionally lift or move 50 pounds
- Ability to perform repetitive motions
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Prepare food in accordance with federal, state and corporate standards, guidelines and regulations
- Follow basic recipes and/or product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving and serving soups, meats, vegetables, desserts and other foodstuffs
- Taste products, read menus, estimate food requirements, check production and keep records to plan production and requisition supplies and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstation
- Perform physical tasks such as walking, standing for long periods, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with regularity
- Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs and client requirements
