This full-time Cook position at the Raleigh Convention Center represents an exciting opportunity to contribute to Sodexo Live's mission by preparing nutritious and appealing dishes while maintaining top-notch customer service standards. Offering a pay rate between $18.00 and $20.00 per hour, this role requires open availability to accommodate varying shifts and meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special catered events. As a Cook, you play a vital role in reducing food waste and ensuring efficient, quality food preparation and presentation. Your duties involve accurately measuring, cooking, portioning, and serving a variety of hot and cold food items while following recipes and safety protocols. The position demands punctuality and reliability, with additional flexibility to adapt duties based on client and business needs. You will serve customers directly in some cases, managing a la carte or grill stations, while embodying the company’s commitment to a healthy and safe work environment. Job Requirements

Job Duties
- Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events
- Read and follow basic recipes and/or product directions for preparing various food items
- Prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station
- Attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
- Perform other duties as assigned depending on business necessities and client requirements
