Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
- 0 to 2 years of related work experience
- Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures preferred
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Good working knowledge of food preparation
- Requires familiarity with kitchen equipment
- Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised

Job Duties
- Prepare food in accordance with federal, state, and corporate standards
- Follow recipes and product directions for preparing soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other food items
- Taste products and read menus to estimate food requirements
- Maintain clean and organized workstations
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Assist in planning production and requisitioning supplies
- Perform physical tasks including walking, standing, lifting, bending, and repetitive motions
