Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
  • 0 to 2 years of related work experience
  • Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures preferred
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Good working knowledge of food preparation
  • Requires familiarity with kitchen equipment
  • Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
  • 0 to 2 years of related work experience
  • Knowledge of basic kitchen equipment operation
  • Familiarity with food handling procedures
  • Ability to read and follow recipes independently

Job Duties

  • Prepare food in accordance with federal, state, and corporate standards
  • Follow recipes and product directions for preparing soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other food items
  • Taste products and read menus to estimate food requirements
  • Maintain clean and organized workstations
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Assist in planning production and requisitioning supplies
  • Perform physical tasks including walking, standing, lifting, bending, and repetitive motions
