Job Requirements

  • must be 18 or older
  • must have reliable transportation
  • must be available to work holidays and weekends
  • able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs periodically
  • able to bend, stoop, sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
  • willingness to work flexible shifts
  • basic understanding of food preparation and safety
  • ability to work with all Denny's menu items

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior restaurant or hospitality industry experience preferred
  • ability to work holidays and weekends
  • basic food safety knowledge
  • ability to follow brand recipes and standards
  • good communication and teamwork skills
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • familiarity with all Denny's menu items

Job Duties

  • prepare guest selections following set recipes and brand standards
  • present food on a great looking plate while maintaining clean and sanitary work environment
  • honor guest requests for special orders
  • correctly call the wheel during food preparation
  • clean, complete side work, and organize supplies as required
  • monitor waste and other food cost controls
  • willingly assist other team members without being asked
  • provide total guest satisfaction
