Job Requirements
- must be 18 or older
- must have reliable transportation
- must be available to work holidays and weekends
- able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs periodically
- able to bend, stoop, sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- willingness to work flexible shifts
- basic understanding of food preparation and safety
- ability to work with all Denny's menu items
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior restaurant or hospitality industry experience preferred
- ability to work holidays and weekends
- basic food safety knowledge
- ability to follow brand recipes and standards
- good communication and teamwork skills
- ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- familiarity with all Denny's menu items
Job Duties
- prepare guest selections following set recipes and brand standards
- present food on a great looking plate while maintaining clean and sanitary work environment
- honor guest requests for special orders
- correctly call the wheel during food preparation
- clean, complete side work, and organize supplies as required
- monitor waste and other food cost controls
- willingly assist other team members without being asked
- provide total guest satisfaction
