  • minimum three years’ experience in high-volume healthcare cooking
  • ability to work variable shifts without guaranteed hours
  • capacity to follow strict food safety protocols

Job Qualifications

  • national food handler card required
  • three years of high-volume healthcare cooking experience
  • formal culinary training preferred
  • ability to work variable shifts including per diem
  • strong understanding of dietary restrictions and nutritional requirements
  • excellent teamwork and communication skills

Job Duties

  • prepare various food products according to dietary guidelines
  • ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
  • assist in menu planning and recipe execution under executive chef supervision
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas
  • coordinate with dietary staff to meet patient-specific nutritional needs
  • monitor inventory and report food supply requirements
  • support catering and special meal service events
