The Cook position within the Dietary/Food and Nutrition Services Department at Providence Holy Family Hospital is a supplemental or per diem role with a variable shift schedule and no guaranteed hours. This role reports directly to the Executive Chef and involves the preparation of a variety of food products essential for patient and staff nourishment in a high-volume healthcare setting. The Cook is expected to maintain high standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene while meeting the diverse dietary needs of hospital patients and personnel. With a base pay range of $18.53 to $26.43 per hour, additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, overtime, on-call premiums, or extra shift incentives. - minimum three years’ experience in high-volume healthcare cooking
- ability to work variable shifts without guaranteed hours
- capacity to follow strict food safety protocols
- physical ability to stand for extended periods
- effective communication skills

Job Qualifications
- national food handler card required
