Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- At least 18 years of age
- Prior on-the-job training and two years equivalent experience required
- Ability to read, write and follow directions
- Must be able to bend, stoop, pull carts and lift at least 30 pounds easily
- Must be able to climb stairs and operate proper equipment needed to clean
- Must be able to read and write in order to use schedule properly
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- At least 18 years of age
- Prior on-the-job training and two years equivalent experience required
- Ability to read, write and follow directions
Job Duties
- Prepare hot and cold food items for residents based on recipes provided
- Have knowledge about food safety standards
- Keep a clean, sanitary work area daily according to industry standards
- Consolidate and rotate produce in walk-in cooler daily
- Assess need and order accurately from vendors any food and produce needed for daily menu
- Become proficient and knowledgeable with task sheets
- Oversee sanitation of kitchen line breakdown and clean up
- Maintain clean and sanitary conditions and cleaning schedules according to state regulations and manufacturer protocols
- Attend required in-services or seminars as needed
- Substitute in other area kitchens and perform duties as needed
- Retain knowledge of Trezevant Manor's mission, vision and values
- Report to work on time, as scheduled and outlined in the employee handbook
