Job Requirements

No formal education required
Ability to stand for long shifts up to 10 hours and lift up to 50 pounds
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Positive attitude and eagerness to learn
Basic kitchen safety knowledge

Job Qualifications

Experience in line cooking or a fast-paced kitchen preferred but willingness to train candidates with a positive attitude
Basic knife skills and fundamental cooking knowledge
Ability to work flexibly including nights, weekends and holidays
Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively within a team

Job Duties

Install and stock cooking stations with necessary ingredients and tools
Prepare a variety of meats, seafood, and vegetables using woks, fryers, and grills according to established recipes
Ensure all food is cooked to appropriate temperatures and plated according to chef's specifications
Maintain high standards of sanitation and safety including cleaning workstations and following food storage guidelines
Communicate effectively with front-of-house staff and other cooks to ensure timely service during peak hours
