We are currently hiring for a Food Preparation and Cooking Associate to join our team in an on-site capacity. This full-time or part-time position offers flexible scheduling options including 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts, availability for weekends, holidays, day and night shifts, as well as potential overtime opportunities. Compensation starts at $12 per hour. The role primarily involves storing, preparing, cooking, and plating all food items in strict accordance with both local health regulations and IHOP’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Employees in this position will receive comprehensive onboarding and paid training that familiarizes them with specialized galley terminology, plating methodologies, and menu specifications, ensuring every dish meets IHOP quality and presentation standards.
The successful candidate will develop and maintain professional working relationships with colleagues and demonstrate a commitment to maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and safety at their workstation. Physical demands include standing, walking, handling tools, and occasionally lifting up to 100 pounds, requiring stamina and attention to safety guidelines.
