Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0 to 2 years of related culinary experience preferred
- knowledge of basic kitchen equipment operation and food-handling procedures
- ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- physical ability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 50 pounds
- ability to perform repetitive motions
- punctuality and reliable attendance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 0 to 2 years of related work experience
- knowledge of food preparation and kitchen equipment
- ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- ability to read and follow recipes independently
- good communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Prepare food in accordance with federal, state, and corporate standards
- follow recipes and product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving, and serving various food items
- taste products and read menus to estimate food requirements
- maintain accurate production records and requisition supplies and equipment
- follow food safety and sanitation protocols
- maintain a clean and organized workstation
- assist with additional duties based on business needs and client requirements
