Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0 to 2 years of related culinary experience preferred
  • knowledge of basic kitchen equipment operation and food-handling procedures
  • ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • ability to stand or walk for extended periods
  • physical ability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • ability to perform repetitive motions
  • punctuality and reliable attendance

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 0 to 2 years of related work experience
  • knowledge of food preparation and kitchen equipment
  • ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • ability to read and follow recipes independently
  • good communication and teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare food in accordance with federal, state, and corporate standards
  • follow recipes and product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving, and serving various food items
  • taste products and read menus to estimate food requirements
  • maintain accurate production records and requisition supplies and equipment
  • follow food safety and sanitation protocols
  • maintain a clean and organized workstation
  • assist with additional duties based on business needs and client requirements
