As a Cook at Red Lobster, you will play an essential role in delivering the brand's promise of quality and freshness. This job involves preparing and cooking food according to precise recipes and portion controls, ensuring that every dish meets the high standards customers expect. Your responsibilities will include organizing and stocking prep and line stations, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen areas and equipment, and verifying ingredient quality and freshness. You will be expected to work efficiently in a dynamic kitchen environment, often assisting or substituting for other cooks during busy periods. Physical stamina is necessary for this role, as shifts can last between 8 to 12 hours, requiring prolonged standing and the ability to bend, stretch, and safely lift up to 30 pounds. Job Requirements
- Must meet minimum age requirement and be authorized to work in the United States

Job Duties
- Accommodate and stock preparation and line stations
- clean, disinfect, and organize kitchen area, equipment, and utensils
- check quality and freshness of ingredients
- prepare, season, and cook food according to recipes, specified quantities, and portion control systems
- inspect food preparation and serving areas as well as utensils and equipment to ensure compliance with safe and sanitary food handling practices
- substitute or assist other cooks and kitchen stations during peak periods
