Job Requirements
- 1 - 3 years professional cooking experience
- Knowledge of food preparation methods, kitchen and dining sanitation, and kitchen equipment use
- Basic math skills
- Ability to perform kitchen jobs unsupervised

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Prepare proper plate and platter presentation according to department standards
- Assist chefs as needed
- Have full knowledge of menus and recipes
- Follow all recipe specifications and presentation guidelines accurately
- Uphold quality standards, portion control, production level, and presentation of food according to company standards and recipes
- Ensure proper rotation, labeling, and dating of products in storage areas to control waste and prevent loss
- Maintain daily product freshness on assigned stations
- Maintain a clean, neat, and well-organized work area including reach-ins, walk-ins, and counters
- Ensure all products are prepared, held, and served at correct temperatures
- Follow all work safety practices such as knife handling, meat cutters, lifting practices, oven, and stove top safety
