Working here means being part of a team that makes a real difference in the lives of senior residents by creating memorable dining experiences that enhance their quality of life.
This role also entails a strong commitment to safety, including adherence to company policies such as wearing medium weight cut gloves when handling knives and using proper protective gloves for hot items. Employees are expected to maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment, support one another, and communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers. Safety meetings and in-service training sessions are integral parts of the job, ensuring everyone stays informed about the latest standards and procedures.
The chosen candidate will assist in food production planning, stock ordering, equipment maintenance reporting, and other kitchen operational tasks. This variety ensures that cooks not only prepare meals but also contribute to the overall efficiency and quality control within the cuisine service area.
