Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
- 0 to 2 years of related work experience
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Knowledge of basic kitchen equipment operation
- Ability to read and follow a recipe unsupervised
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to perform repetitive motions
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
- 0 to 2 years of related work experience preferred
- Knowledge of basic operation of kitchen equipment
- Familiarity with food-handling procedures
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Good working knowledge of food preparation
- Ability to read and follow recipes independently
Job Duties
- Prepare food in accordance with current applicable federal, state and corporate standards, guidelines, and regulations
- Follow basic recipes and/or product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving, and serving soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other foodstuffs
- Taste products, read menus, estimate food requirements, check production, and keep records to plan production requirements and requisition supplies and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstation
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Stand and walk for extended periods during shifts
- Lift and move food and kitchen supplies, occasionally up to 50 pounds
- Perform repetitive motions as required in food preparation
- Attend work punctually and maintain satisfactory regularity
- Carry out other assigned duties as needed depending on business needs and client requirements
