Job Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry or move up to 30 lbs
- Able to work in hot and cold environments
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time up to 8 hours per shift
- Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting and stooping
- Manual dexterity to handle glassware, utensils and technology systems
- Ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Visual ability including distance, close, color, depth and peripheral vision
- Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
Job Qualifications
- Ability to prepare food quickly and accurately
- Familiarity with kitchen stations such as salad, fry, sauté, grill, and makeup
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation and hygiene standards
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Basic cooking skills
- Ability to follow recipes and safety protocols
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
Job Duties
- Responsible for the preparation of food items
- Maintain equipment and cleanliness of kitchen surroundings
- Work as a team to achieve standards in preparation and delivery of food
- Prepare food following safety equipment, tools, and recipe standards
- Restock kitchen and cook line as needed
- Commit to food safety, cleanliness, job safety and sanitation standards
- Support all areas of the restaurant as business needs arise
