Job Description

The role of Cook is an essential team member position designed for individuals who are passionate about food preparation and delivering an outstanding dining experience. The position is nonexempt and paid hourly, with a competitive salary range of $20 to $22 an hour. This is an at-will employment role, meaning employment can be terminated by either party at any time, with or without cause or notice, as governed by applicable law.

As a Cook, the incumbent will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items to recipe standards, with a particular emphasis on cooking chicken and prepping side dishes. The role requires the individual to ensure food safety standards are strictly followed to maintain product quality and customer safety. The person filling this role should be vigilant in managing food transactions, supporting other team members like cashiers and packline operators, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Key responsibilities include cooking chicken to the correct times and temperatures, monitoring side dishes, replenishing food cabinets with fresh product, and properly discarding food waste. In addition to food preparation duties, the cook will contribute to cleanliness by washing dishes during slower periods and preparing side dishes for current or upcoming production days. The position requires the candidate to adhere strictly to company standards and procedures to ensure efficient and timely order fulfillment.

There is no requirement for travel in this job.
