Job Requirements
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience
- 0 to 2 years of related work experience
- knowledge of basic operation of kitchen equipment and food handling procedures preferred
- ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- ability to perform repetitive motions
- ability to walk or stand for extended periods up to 8 hours
- ability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently and occasionally 50 pounds
- punctuality and regular attendance
- ability to reach, bend, stoop, push or pull
- willingness to work varied shifts mornings, afternoons and evenings
Job Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- 0 to 2 years of related work experience
- knowledge of kitchen equipment operation
- good working knowledge of food preparation
- ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- familiarity with food handling procedures
- ability to read and follow recipes unsupervised
Job Duties
- Prepare food in accordance with federal, state and corporate standards
- follow recipes and product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving and serving soups, meats, vegetables and desserts
- taste products, read menus, estimate food requirements, check production and keep records
- maintain a clean and organized workstation
- ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld
- assist with kitchen teamwork and contribute to overall dining experience quality
- perform other duties as assigned based on business needs and client requirements
