This restaurant chain prides itself on maintaining the feel of a neighborhood family-oriented diner while operating at speeds comparable to fast food restaurants. With multiple locations in its growing footprint, Burgermaster has established itself as a beloved brand for fast casual dining, especially noted for its innovative approach to food preparation and service. Its continued success is rooted in its dedication to providing exceptional customer experiences, fostering a welcoming atmosphere, and championing growth and learning within the organization.
As a growing fast casual restaurant group, Burgermaster is committed to operational excellence and maintaining a culture that supports team members’ growth. They are currently seeking motivated cooks who share the company’s passion for the restaurant industry and desire to grow professionally within a supportive and dynamic environment. This role is essential to upholding the high standards of food quality and sanitation that Burgermaster is known for. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking food orders swiftly and with precision, adhering to the restaurant’s guidelines for safety and quality.
The cook will be responsible for food preparation tasks such as slicing, cutting, and chopping ingredients while ensuring their station is set up properly to meet operational requirements. Efficiency and attention to detail are key components of this role, as is the ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including walk-in coolers and storage areas. The cook must be able to respond promptly to customer needs and requests for service, always maintaining excellent customer service standards. Safety and sanitation are priorities, with the cook expected to observe all food handling procedures closely, report any unsafe conditions, and take appropriate action when necessary.
This position offers an hourly wage ranging between $20 and $23, plus tips, and is a great opportunity for those who are looking to step into a role with a reputable, family-owned fast casual restaurant group. Burgermaster values its employees and provides a benefits package that supports health, wellness, and work-life balance. The cook role is suited for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced restaurant environment, have strong organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail. Additionally, prospective candidates should be prepared to work flexible hours including nights and weekends and must be physically able to meet the demands of the job such as lifting up to 50 pounds and being on their feet for extended periods.
