  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment
  • Ability to read and follow a recipe unsupervised

  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
  • Good working knowledge of food preparation
  • Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised
  • Ability to maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare food in accordance with current applicable federal, state and corporate standards, guidelines, and regulations to ensure high-quality food service is provided
  • Follow basic recipes and/or product directions for preparing, seasoning, cooking, tasting, carving, and serving soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and other foodstuffs for consumption in eating establishments
  • Taste products, read menus, estimate food requirements, check production, and keep records to accurately plan production requirements and requisition supplies and equipment
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met
  • Support kitchen teamwork by effectively communicating and collaborating with team members
  • Perform physical activities such as walking or standing for extended periods, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 35 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Other duties as assigned based on business needs and client requirements
