The Cook position at Baylor Heart Hospital Denton, offered by Aramark, is a rewarding opportunity for individuals passionate about food and culinary creativity. This role is a full-time position with regular working hours from Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM. As a Cook, you will play an essential role in the food preparation process by bringing recipes to life and utilizing fresh ingredients alongside state-of-the-art kitchen equipment. This role goes beyond basic food preparation, inviting you to experiment with a variety of cuisines, flavors, and cooking methods, fostering an environment of culinary innovation and skill enhancement.

In this role, you will be responsible for cooking and preparing a range of dishes following standardized recipes and production guidelines ensuring top-quality food output that meets Aramark's standards. You will have a dedicated workstation, adequately stocked with all necessary ingredients and culinary tools to prepare and cook food efficiently. Your tasks will include measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, peeling ingredients, and operating kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers. You will also engage in diverse cooking techniques, including baking, roasting, broiling, and steaming various food items such as meats and vegetables.

Food safety is of paramount importance in this role. As such, you will be expected to maintain strict adherence to food safety policies governing proper food storage, handling, and sanitation procedures. Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, utensils, and equipment will be a routine part of your duties. Additionally, you will be expected to uphold excellent customer service standards and maintain a positive, professional demeanor with guests, clients, coworkers, and customers.

Job Requirements
