You will be engaged in preparing a variety of dishes by measuring, mixing, chopping, and cooking ingredients according to established production guidelines and standardized recipes. The role requires familiarity with operating kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers as well as proficiency in different cooking methods including baking, roasting, broiling, and steaming.
Your responsibilities will also include maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of your workstation, ensuring food safety and proper storage in compliance with company policies, and providing excellent customer service while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor toward guests, clients, co-workers, and customers. - Experience as a cook or in a related role
- basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations
- ability to obtain food safety certification
- physical ability to lift, bend, push, pull, and stand for extended periods
- willingness to wear uniforms and personal protective equipment
- strong communication skills

Job Duties
- Cook and prepare food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
- set up workstation with needed ingredients and equipment
- prepare ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling
- safely use kitchen utensils including knives
- operate equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers
- bake, roast, broil, steam, and use various cooking methods on foods
- arrange, garnish, and portion food according to guidelines
- properly store food following safety policies
- clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
- maintain excellent customer service and positive demeanor
- adhere to safety policies and food safety and sanitation procedures
- ensure security of company assets
