The Cook role at Red Lobster is a vital part of maintaining the restaurant's high standards for quality and customer satisfaction. This position involves setting up and stocking prep and line stations, ensuring the kitchen area and equipment are clean, sanitized, and organized, and checking the quality and freshness of ingredients. The cook is responsible for prepping, seasoning, and cooking food according to recipes, maintaining portion control, and inspecting food preparation and serving areas to ensure safe and sanitary practices. Cooks may also be required to substitute for or assist other kitchen positions during peak times, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Job Requirements
- Must meet the minimum age requirement and authorized to work in the country you are applying
- Culinary experience preferred
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop and lift up to 60 pounds safely
- Ability to move about the restaurant and remain standing for an 8 - 12 hour shift
