The Cook prepares, cooks, and serves daily meals for program participants, staff, and guests, providing a quality customer service experience throughout. This role requires adherence to strict documentation requirements for food storage, inventory, temperatures, cleaning, sanitation, and food disposal, ensuring compliance with Job Corps policy and food service health and safety guidelines. The Cook is responsible for documenting and reporting any discrepancies to the supervisor and maintaining accountability for knives and cutting tools to uphold safety standards.

The working environment demands maintaining clean, sanitary, and organized work areas, participates actively in daily general cleaning tasks, and supports a safe and congenial teamwork environment. The Cook observes kitchen and dining areas, utensils, supplies, and equipment to ensure sanitary standards are consistently met and maintained, promptly reporting any issues. The position also involves modeling positive behavior and conflict resolution skills, promoting a harassment-free workplace, and participating in department meetings and all mandated training.

This role requires strict adherence to data security policies, especially concerning student data, to protect personally identifiable information in line with Job Corps and Strategix policies. Job Requirements
