Job Requirements
- Prior experience as a cook
- serve safe certification
- knowledge of food preparation and kitchen operation in upscale environments
- understanding of sanitation practices
- able to understand and communicate in English
- possess team spirit and collaboration skills
- sense of urgency and commitment to exceed member expectations
- reliable transportation
- ability to lift at least 50 lbs and stand for long periods

Job Duties
- Prepare and cook food according to specifications and sanitary standards
- portion food and issue to servers
- prepare cold side items as per menus and specials
- make daily preparations of menu items with high quality and presentation
- assist in food preparation for other events
- clean work area and assist in keeping kitchen clean including storage
- operate kitchen equipment safely and sanitarily
- report food supply shortages or problems to supervisor
- assist in receiving and storing food
- cook hot side food for banquets and assist other cooks
- break down station at end of shift, turning off equipment and locking storage
