Job Requirements
- Culinary experience
- Availability to work full time including weekdays and weekends
- Ability to follow federal, state, and corporate food preparation standards and safety guidelines
- Capability to perform duties involving physical activity including lifting and standing for extended periods

- Compliance with company policies on safety equipment usage and hygiene

- Ability to operate kitchen equipment and handle food properly

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior culinary experience in a food service environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to follow standardized recipes and procedures
- Basic skills in operating kitchen equipment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work as part of a team and maintain positive relationships
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work weekdays and weekends as scheduled
- Commitment to workplace safety and hygiene standards
Job Duties
- Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions
- Serves meals or prepares for delivery by using correct portioning, ensuring food is at correct temperature and visually appealing
- Uses established ticket collection procedures during service and maintains accurate records
- Cleans kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Stores or discards excess food following safe food-handling procedures
- Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and ensures proper food and supply storage
- Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed
- Assists in production planning, record keeping, and ordering of food and supplies
- Reports maintenance needs, faulty equipment, or accidents immediately to supervisor
- Attends in-service and safety meetings
- Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers
- Performs job safely while maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Ensures proper food presentation, portion control, and serving temperature per HACCP standards
- Abides by company safety policies including use of gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques
- Performs other duties as assigned
