The Cook will play an essential role in the diner’s kitchen operations. This position involves rigorous adherence to the diner’s menu and recipes, preparation of ingredients, and maintaining health and safety standards throughout the cooking process. Essential duties include setting up, cleaning, and organizing workstations; preparing food items and necessary utensils; accurately receiving and memorizing food orders from waitstaff via handwritten tickets or a computerized system; and cooking and plating orders exactly as described in the training materials. The Cook must effectively handle multiple orders simultaneously, monitor the progress of incoming orders, and ensure every dish is delivered with the correct accompaniments and in a timely manner to waitstaff. Alongside these responsibilities, maintaining proper storage of food, thorough sanitation of workstations and utensils, and supporting fellow kitchen staff are also vital components of the role.

Working in this role requires physical stamina, a sense of urgency and timing, and the ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure. Job Duties
