Currently, Sodexo is seeking a part-time Cook to join their team at the Asheboro City School District. This role is essential to their mission of providing nutritious and delicious meals while maintaining superb customer service standards. The pay range for this position is $15.00 to $16.00 per hour, reflecting the company's commitment to offering competitive compensation for quality work. The Cook role involves working various shifts with open availability preferred, accommodating the dynamic needs of school meal service schedules.

The Cook position is more than just preparing food; it embodies being a team player and contributing to the reduction of food waste. As a Cook at Sodexo, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing, portioning, cooking, and presenting a variety of hot and cold food items for multiple meal periods, which may include breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special catered events. You will follow recipes and product directions closely while ensuring that all meals adhere to the highest standards of quality and safety. Job Duties

  • attend work and show for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
