As a company committed to excellence in senior care, Dial fosters a culture of learning and growth by providing its employees with opportunities to learn from experienced seniors and healthcare professionals. With a focus on nurturing happiness and well-being, Dial’s mission is to add not only years to the lives of its residents but also life to their years, ensuring that every day is fulfilling and joyful for those they serve.

Dial offers a dynamic work environment where employees are encouraged to develop their skills and build meaningful relationships with residents and colleagues. The company provides generous benefits including birthday and anniversary paid time off, tuition assistance, double pay on holidays, immediate accrual of paid time off (PTO), referral bonuses, free meals during shifts, loyalty incentives, and employee recognition programs. Additional perks include discounts through Verizon and AT&T, a pay advance program, comprehensive medical and prescription drug insurance including dental and vision coverage, basic term life and AD&D insurance, a 401K plan, and a flexible spending account for dependent care. These benefits highlight Dial's commitment to supporting its team members both professionally and personally.

The role at Dial involves preparing nutritious and varied meals tailored to meet the needs of senior residents, ensuring that food is not only wholesome but also appealing. The food service team member plays a critical role in contributing to the overall health and happiness of residents by providing consistent, high-quality dining experiences. This position focuses on meal preparation following a weekly menu plan, adhering to dietary restrictions, and maintaining strict food safety and hygiene standards. Attention to detail is paramount as precise portion control and attractive presentation are essential to meet budgetary and resident satisfaction goals.

This job requires a strong team player who values safety and cleanliness in the kitchen, works collaboratively with coworkers, and communicates effectively with management to report equipment issues or concerns about residents' well-being. The role also involves participating in serving meals and encouraging resident engagement in the dining program, which enhances community involvement and quality of life. Scheduled staff meetings and in-service training support continuous learning and team cohesion, ensuring that the food service operation runs smoothly and effectively.

Team members in this food preparation role at Dial must handle all food properly, including labeling and storage, to prevent contamination and ensure compliance with infection control protocols. They also take responsibility for preparing meats and ingredients for future use and maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen environment. Confidentiality is a critical aspect of the role, as team members handle sensitive information about residents and the community.

Overall, working at Dial means becoming part of a supportive community dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of older adults. It is a rewarding opportunity for those who enjoy culinary work, teamwork, and contributing to a meaningful mission focused on compassion and care.
