The role offered is that of a Prep Cook, a foundational position in the club's kitchen staff responsible for preparing ingredients and food items according to set recipes and standards. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food preparation or culinary environment
- knowledge of state and local health and safety regulations
- ability to follow established recipes and portion standards
- physical ability to perform kitchen duties including standing for long periods
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- good hygiene and personal cleanliness
- willingness to take direction and collaborate with kitchen staff

Job Duties
- Prepare all required items
- set up service units with needed items
- prepare items in accordance with established portions and presentation standards
- notify sous chef of expected shortages
- ensure assigned work areas and equipment are clean and sanitary
- assist the sous chef in maintaining security and safety in the kitchen
- maintain neat professional appearance and observe personal cleanliness rules
- set-up, maintain and break down prep cook station
- requisition items needed to produce menu items
- adhere to state and local health and safety regulations
- cover, date and neatly store all leftover products that are re-usable
- maintain the highest sanitary standards
- coordinate and time orders with other kitchen operations
- make recommendations for maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the line prep area and equipment
- attend staff meetings
- assist with other duties as assigned by sous chef
