As a Cook at Trilogy Healthcare located in Lebanon, Indiana, you will hold a vital role in the preparation and service of high-quality meals tailored to the health and dietary needs of the residents. This position is integral to supporting the overall well-being of the residents by ensuring that all meals are prepared with care, using fresh ingredients, and adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation standards. The role requires keen attention to detail, culinary skills, teamwork, and reliability to help create a positive and nurturing dining experience. In addition to cooking, you will assist the Food Service Manager in inventory control, manage meal service stations, and support Dietary staff in their duties.   • High school diploma or GED/HSE preferred
  • Minimum of 1-2 years similar cooking experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare fresh scratch-made meals using a recipe for residents according to planned menus and dietary guidelines
  • Assist the Food Service Manager with inventory control and ordering supplies
  • Properly store food and kitchen supplies to maintain freshness and prevent waste
  • Supervise and support Dietary staff when the Food Service Manager is unavailable
  • Set up breakfast bars, steam tables, and other meal service stations
  • Maintain cleanliness in work areas and ensure all kitchen cleaning tasks are completed
  • Prepare and stock snacks and standard pantry items for resident areas
  • Utilize technology and computerized systems to efficiently and safely create a great dining experience for our residents and families
