Cracker Barrel is a beloved American restaurant and retail chain known for its warm hospitality, comforting home-style meals, and a unique blend of dining and shopping experiences. Since its inception in 1969, Cracker Barrel has grown into a cherished gathering place where guests can enjoy delicious food, abundant servings, and unexpected retail finds in a welcoming atmosphere. With over 70,000 team members nationwide, Cracker Barrel prides itself on its roots and commitment to serving more than just a meal; it’s about creating moments that matter for both guests and employees alike.

As a Cook at Cracker Barrel, you will play a vital role in the kitchen, helping to bring the dining experience to life. This role involves preparing ingredients, cooking comfort food, and plating meals that taste like home. Whether you are making pancakes for breakfast or cooking dinner options, every shift offers you the chance to contribute with heart and hustle in a fast-paced, team-driven environment. Working as part of a dedicated team, you will support one another to maintain a smooth, efficient kitchen operation, ensuring that guests leave with a memorable experience.

Cracker Barrel values individuals who take pride in their work and demonstrate a positive, can-do spirit. If you thrive on working in a fast-paced setting, can handle multiple tasks with focus, and are eager to learn, this may be the perfect opportunity for you. Experience in a restaurant is not required, as the company provides comprehensive training through its industry-leading PAR training program, enabling new cooks to grow and develop right from day one.

Employees at Cracker Barrel enjoy competitive pay with the benefit of same-day pay access, ensuring they are rewarded promptly for their hard work. Both full-time and part-time team members are eligible for health insurance starting on day one, alongside vacation time and an employee assistance program, reflecting the company’s commitment to supporting its workforce beyond the job. Additionally, Cracker Barrel offers a 401k plan with company matching, an employee stock purchase program, and numerous employee recognition and development opportunities.

Working at Cracker Barrel also means being part of a culture of belonging where support, onboarding, and ongoing training are designed to help employees thrive. Team members receive exclusive perks such as a 35% discount on Cracker Barrel food and retail items and special benefits called Biscuit Perks, which offer discounts on home goods, travel, cell phones, and more. In essence, working at Cracker Barrel is not just a job; it’s about joining a community where the work means more and where everyone has a place to grow and succeed.

If you are passionate about delivering excellent customer experiences and being part of a team that values care and commitment, Cracker Barrel invites you to apply.
