The role of Cook within the Food Service department is instrumental to the daily operations of the kitchen. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age to operate machinery
- Ability to stand for long periods and walk frequently around the department
- Capacity to carry up to 60 pounds and push or pull up to 1000 pounds
- Ability to bend and reach for products stored on lower levels
- Use of proper safety procedures
- Ability to listen to directions and follow through independently
- Ability to slice, dice, and mince manually
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience working with the public
- Knowledge of proper knife skills and sanitation practices

Job Duties
- Greets customers when within ten feet and four seconds of contact
- Cooks food items needed for the day such as make bentos, roast chicken, fish
- Tracks food inventory, order from vendors if needed
- Tracks food quality, pulls food that does not meet standards, conducts hourly temperature checks of food and warmers for hot food temperature and hot chicken temperature log
- Keeps workstation clean and organized by dusting, wiping, and sweeping area
- Washes and sanitizes dishes, tools and area
- Performs other related duties as needed as assigned by manager
