Job Description

Sundale Senior Living, LP, is a distinguished provider of assisted living services focusing on offering quality care that perfectly balances independence and necessary support for senior adults. Situated as an ideal bridge between independent living and comprehensive nursing care, Sundale Senior Living ensures that each resident receives personalized assistance with activities of daily living as needed, while maintaining their dignity and independence. The organization is committed to creating a vibrant community where seniors can thrive in a supportive and respectful environment.

As a Sundale Cook, you will play a vital role in enhancing the living experience of our senior residents by preparing nutritious, delicious, and visually appealing meals. This is not merely a cooking position; it is an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the wellbeing of seniors by providing food that is crafted with care and attention to detail. You must possess a passion for food preparation and a genuine desire to work with senior individuals, understanding and respecting the unique behaviors and challenges associated with the aging process. This position requires adherence to strict kitchen sanitation and safety standards, as well as a cooperative spirit to assist the Kitchen Manager with inventory control and budget compliance.

The role requires flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends and holidays, reflecting the 24/7 nature of assisted living care. Successful candidates should be calm under pressure, exercise sound judgment, and be willing to undergo serve-safe training and ongoing education relevant to food safety and regulatory standards. The cook will prepare hot and cold menu items three times daily, ensuring proper portions and quality align with established company standards. By focusing on delivering exceptional customer service and care, the cook directly supports the health and satisfaction of our residents.

Sundale Senior Living is more than a place to work; it is a community dedicated to making a difference in the lives of older adults. Working here means being part of a compassionate team committed to senior care excellence, continuous improvement, and fostering an environment where every resident feels valued and cared for. This position offers an enriching experience with the opportunity to apply culinary skills in a meaningful setting that prioritizes senior wellness and comfort. Job seekers with a deep appreciation for food and a heart for senior care will find this role both rewarding and fulfilling.
