As a Cook, your core responsibilities will involve not only the cooking and packaging of food products but also operating various kitchen stations, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring safety and compliance with company standards. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work under various environmental conditions such as heat, cold, and repetitive movements. Apart from culinary skills, the position demands strong communication abilities, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with coworkers and management. Your contribution will directly impact the customer experience through the consistency and quality of the food served. Additional duties occasionally include handling customer or employee complaints by bringing them to the attention of the MOD, managing inventory, and performing miscellaneous tasks as needed to support kitchen operations. This position not only demands technical cooking skills but also requires adaptability to shifting schedules and a commitment to regular attendance. Job Duties
- Cook, prepare, and package food product pursuant to operational and quality standards
- Operate dresser, front swamp, back swamp, grill, and food prep stations as assigned
- Comply with all company policies, procedures, and operational standards
- Perform regular cleaning and sanitation duties including trash disposal, mopping, sweeping, washing dishes and food preparation tools, wiping counters, sanitizing food preparation areas, cleaning equipment, and emptying used grease pursuant to operational standards
- Regular attendance
- Report customer or employee complaints/issues to MOD
- Move and stock food product weighing up to 50 pounds
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned or required
